Comments:
The Sovtol transformer has natural cooling with a non-flammable liquid dielectric (sovtol). The transformer is designed to power thyristor converters with a three-phase bridge rectification circuit with a rated voltage of 460V and a rated current of 2500A. Typical power of transformers 1600 kVA. The rated power of the mains winding is 1427kVA. The transformer corresponds to TU 16-517. 967-77.
The phase-to-phase voltage of the mains windings of transformers is 10 kV. Transformers are made with a PBV of ± 5%. The mass of the active part is 2875kg, of which the mass of the iron of the magnetic circuit is 1750kg, the mass of the windings is 1125kg.
