By chemical composition, macroporous cationites of the Purolite CT275 type are a sulfonated copolymer of styrene and divinylbenzene: the concentration of the styrene and divinylbenzene copolymer is 75% by weight (dry cationite), the acidic residue of sulfuric acid (-SO3H) is 25% by weight (dry cationite).
