Comments: 1. General information
The present description contains the functional and technical requirements for computing systems, hereinafter - the virtual server, and the requirements for installation work.
A purchase is expected to include a set of virtual servers according to the requirements below.
2. General requirements
2.1 Requirements for the Contractor
The delivery of virtual capacities, the implementation of installation and commissioning is carried out by the forces and means of the Contractor. The contractor must provide service support for the allocated capacity on its own. The Contractor’s application must contain a proposal for the supply of computing power in the cloud resource owned by the Contractor in accordance with the following requirements.
2.2 Virtual computing power requirements
Requirements are presented to one set of allocated computing resources. Computing resources must be allocated in a protected virtual circuit that does not allow its use by other Customers. Access to technical documentation and user manuals should be provided in full.
2.2.1 Certification requirements for virtualization systems used by the Contractor
The virtualization software used to organize the delivery of computing power must be certified by SAP for use as a platform for deployment in an SAP HANA virtual environment.
2.2.2 Support requirements for provided computing resources
• The contractor must provide support for the supplied computing resources by its own technical support center;
• The Contractor’s service support center must meet the following requirements:
• 24/7 telephone support hotline in Russian;
• acceptance of applications by the supplier’s support service on all acceptable channels (telephone, fax, e-mail, web) in Russian in 24x7 mode;
• Application registration time in the support service - no more than 30 minutes
• the time of diagnosis and the provision of the Recovery Plan is no more than 3 hours from the moment of registration of the application;
• Guaranteed recovery time of no more than 24 hours from the date of registration
§ The Contractor must provide access to the Contractor’s specialized resources, namely, portals to the Internet, documentation, knowledge bases, for information on the status of allocated resources, independent training, and a search for solutions to possible problems for the entire time that resources are provided.
• The contractor must provide the following level of service for the provided computing resources:
o Definitions.
§ Coordinated uptime (SVR) - indicates the time at which the service should function normally. For example: 24x7 (around the clock, seven days a week).
§ Coordinated support time (SVP) - indicates the time at which the service is supported. For example: 8x5 (10: 00-18: 00, Mon-Fri), 8x7 (10: 00-18: 00, Mon-Sun). Unless otherwise specified, time zone (MSK). The service provision period is a calendar month.
Реакции Reaction time - measured as the time between receiving a signal from a monitoring system or from a user about an alleged malfunction, on the one hand, and the start of work to restore service availability on the other. The reaction time is counted within the agreed Support Time (SVP).
§ Downtime - the sum of the downtime for a period, except for downtime caused by the following reasons:
• Scheduled maintenance windows.
• Inoperability of communication channels and equipment outside the Contractor’s responsibility / control.
• The Client’s applications or components not controlled or controlled by the Contractor, which led to the inability to provide the Service.
• Negative activity of the Customer, its employees, partners, etc., which led to a negative impact.
• Other uncontrolled events classified as force majeure.
§ Availability (%) - the minimum allowable percentage of service availability per unit of consumption for the period. It is determined by the formula: ((SVR for the period - Idle time for the period) / SVR) × 100%.
For example, with a total idle time of 3 hours per month, the percentage of availability = ((30 × 24 × 60 - 3 × 60) / (30 × 24 × 60)) × 100% = 99.58%.
2.3 Requirements for the timing of the supply of resources
The supply of computing resources should be carried out for a period not exceeding 14 working days from the date of signing of the contract by the parties.
2.4 Functional and technical requirements for allocated computing resources
Equipment must comply with the following functional and technical characteristics:
2.4.1 Certification Requirement for the Operating System Used
The operating system used in the allocated computing resources must be certified by the manufacturer for use as a platform under SAP HANA in virtual environments.
2.4.2 The specification of a dedicated virtual server shall contain:
• For the SAP HANA Server:
◦ vCPU (virtual cores) - at least 10 vCpu
◦ RAM (RAM) - at least 256 Gb
◦ Datastore (disk subsystem, in addition to the operating system used):
▪ vHDD1 - 128Gb - type of SSD drives
▪ vHDD2 - 1Tb - type of HDD
◦ 10Gbps network interface
• For the SAP application server:
◦ vCPU (virtual cores) - at least 8 vCpu
◦ RAM (RAM) - at least 128 Gb
◦ Datastore (disk subsystem, in addition to the operating system used):
▪ vHDD1 - 300Gb - type of HDD
◦ 10Gbps network interface
• All dedicated virtual servers must support the installation of one of the following operating systems:
◦ RHEL 7.6 for SAP Solutions (preferred)
◦ SLES (for SAP) 12 SP4
◦ SLES (for SAP) 15
